We go to Creekside every year and for groups and kids it can’t be beat! We go with friends and each get our own cabins. The property is open and walkable and the kids love it. The property has a playground with great outdoor spaces, and the layout makes it safe and off the road. Not to mention, it’s basically right across the street from the Fooses creek trail of the Monarch Crest. We stay at Creekside Chalets every year, and it somehow gets better every time! The chalets are always spotless, cozy, and beautifully maintained. You can tell how much care goes into every detail. The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel like part of the family from the moment you arrive. It truly feels like a home away from home. Creekside Chalets in Salida deserves every one of its five stars. The cabins are spotless — you can tell they take pride in keeping everything immaculate. Sitting in the Aspen grove with the sound of the creek running nearby feels like hitting a reset button for your soul. Every detail, from the cozy interiors to the perfectly maintained grounds, makes it impossible not to relax. Such a beautiful property and the chalets are surprisingly spacious. The chalets really give you a home away from home and have everything you need for a comfortable experience. I loved the trail going around the property, the multiple play areas for kids, and the relaxing common areas next to the river. This was my first time staying here. From the moment we arrived at the property, it felt like paradise. We stayed at Mt. Columbia Chalet, which was absolutely more beautiful than I could ever imagine. There are 3 large bedrooms, 2 of which were on one side of the house that included a kitchen, livingroom and full bathroom. The 3rd bedroom was on the other end of the house that also included a main livingroom, main full kitchen and a bathroom. The chalet had ample parking including space for a truck and ATV trailer. There is a private large fenced area for dogs and a private area with a hot tub. The property is very beautiful and well maintained. A little slice of heaven on earth. We definitely will be back.
